Campaigns

Established in 1992 as a small advocacy organization, the Minnesota Stroke Association, together with its sister organization the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance, today employs more than 75 staff members to raise stroke awareness and to support individuals affected by stroke.

Your financial support helps us to:
  • Continue our Stroke And Falls Education (SAFE) Program. This important educational program has educated over 1,300 older adults about stroke and falls prevention.
  • Expand our Caregiver Advocacy and Resource (CARE) Program by matching funds granted from the Minnesota Department of Human Services. CARE is designed to address the growing need for caregiver support through training sessions and a half-day conference to educate caregivers.
  • Respond to requests to bring education services to all of Minnesota.
  • Support our Public Relations staff who work hard to spread the word to hospitals and rehab centers around Minnesota about the work MSA does to connect patients and their families to post-acute services, resources, and the answers they need to navigate life after stroke.
  • Host an annual Minnesota conference for professionals in the stroke care field.
Your gifts enable the Minnesota Stroke Association to be the state's preeminent non-profit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all people coping with stroke's sudden and long-term effects. Each dollar counts. Please give today.
