Make Your Mark in the Fight Against Stroke Your donation to the Strides for Stroke walk signifies more than just financial support—it represents hope, solidarity, and the promise of a brighter future for those affected by stroke. Through your generosity, the Minnesota Stroke Association can continue to offer essential services like free Resource Facilitation, educational outreach, mentoring, and statewide stroke prevention and advocacy initiatives. This year's Strides for Stroke event is a testament to the power of community and the belief that together, we can overcome the challenges posed by stroke. It's a celebration of survivors; a union of family,...

For my family who have taken such good care of me through my journey and all the other families going through something similar.
4th Annual Strides for Stroke for our team: Arrowhead Striders at Essentia Health in Virginia, MN.
Having worked with the Stroke Inspire group for several years we wanted to show our support.
In honor of Geoff Hathaway – who is amazing!
My father survived a stroke, which inspired me to pursue a career as a neuro nurse.
I am donating through MnCAN’s team page to celebrate all of the incredible speech therapists we have met on my Dad’s (Carl Antus’s) post-stroke path since 2012 as well as those who work with my son (Atticus), who has Down syndrome. My money is given in honor of my Dad and in solidarity with all of the caregivers who walk, have walked, and will walk with me on our life paths. I hope the MN Stroke Association will shine a brighter light on rural Minnesota in the future.
Way to go Allina BE Fast Walkers-Let’s share our energy with those who wish they can participate in the walk, but due to a stroke are unable to.
I am unable to do the walk. Donating for my daughter Tiffany Tate who suffered a stroke resulting in a craniotomy and titanium plate to replace right side of her skull.
In memory of a fabulous family member who we lost way to early last year. Jodee will live on in her laughter, our memories of her that will never fade and the numerous people that she touched.
Help support a cause that someday that we may not need a “walk” , we might have a cure…
Thank
You!!
Mae
I am walking in honor of my dad who is a two-time stroke survivor!
As a speech-language pathologist, I work with people recovering from stroke to help them communicate with their loved ones again. I’m passionate about supporting them as they find their words, rebuild their confidence in speaking, and reconnect with what matters most. Communication is more than just talking—it’s about identity, connection, and purpose, and I’m grateful to be part of that journey.
I am donating as part of the MMHC Rehab Team

I found MSA completely by accident – a roadside sign. Five years after my stroke, still no healthcare provider had suggested this resource to me. My family and friends were so unsure how to handle my stroke that I have lost most of them. I would like to help MSA become more well-known so that other survivors and their families get connected earlier!
